Need Vintage parts? See what Windy has to offer

Hi Windy Wiper,

I recently acquired a vintage automobile, my first one and I am so jazzed I cannot stand myself. It is a 1937 Chevy Coup the engine is original and the interior is all there, but in need of some major restoration. I want to keep her as stock as possible but I need some help. I am looking for some original pieces for her, can you help me with that? I checked the net but really did not have that great of luck. I’ll be waiting

Alicia,

Well Alicia,

I love vintage metal. Actually, I am vintage metal. My owner has a 1927 Willy’s Knight you might have seen, which parks next to me in the shop and she too is all original. You have come to the right place. My owner happens to be connected with all the wrecking yards in the United States and everything is listed by year, make and model so I will pass this information on to her so that she can see which wrecking yards might have what you are looking for. Wrecking yard is such an ugly term. I prefer to think of them as vintage auto parts boutiques. My personal favorite store is Racy’s, but it is rather expensive. You won’t find any Christmas tree air fresheners in that place! My owner has been able to offer assistance with others who were extremely happy with the outcome of the vintage parts they were in need of. I know we can do the same for you.

She pays for this service and would be happy to lend you a hand. Anything for another female gear head. I have your email address and will send your info her way. Helping get your baby having its rubber to hit the road again is our pleasure. As for me, I never get tired of shopping for new brake shoes! Happy Motoring
