Teresa Aquila – (Founder, Author, Editor)
Teresa Aquila, a renowned mechanic, radio show host,columnist, teacher and a producer of an auto repair video for woman. Her mechanical career has spanned 41 years working on everything from Porsches to Heavy Equipment to including classic vehicles which she owns several and has personally restored in a world dominated by men. She managed to be a self taught rebuilder of vintage jukeboxes, radios, pinball machines and windmills. Her love for automobiles came at a very early age despite the discouragement of many including her mother. Being self-driven, she rose to her dreams and now adds Teresa’s Garage website/Radio Show to her list of accomplishments in order to help empower other woman to rise to the occasion.
Teresa has been a Reserve Deputy for 38 years and currently holds the rank of Reserve Deputy Sheriff Lieutenant. She is the Coordinator for the Neighborhood Watch Program and speaks publicly on many topics including crime prevention. As the Reserve Lieutenant, Teresa oversees the Reserve Deputy Program; she oversees the security for the Victim Impact Panel, works with communities to help reduce crime and is well respected by many.
Sonia Perozzi – ( Co-founder, Marketing)
Sonia Perozzi has always been passionate about the arts, humanities and communication. She received her BA in Music and has had the joy of working in theater, film and voice over both in front of and behind the scenes. Growing up she worked in the family run business of a fine dining Italian restaurant and travels when ever she gets the chance.
Her natural talents and experience led to the creative world of marketing. Where she specializes in both consulting and creating content for businesses that they can share, educate, entertain and engage their customers with. Marketing is about creating an experience for others, storytelling and building relationships. She enjoys working with businesses to bring out their passion and provide innovative ideas to present them.
Terri Hull – (Creative Advisor, Contributing Writer)
Terri Hull is a legend in her own mind. She has dabbled in theater, voice overs and stand up comedy. She was also nominated for an Academy Award for her role in… (Oh, wait, that isn’t exactly true). In addition to writing her book, she enjoys candlelight dinners and romantic walks on the beach…Oops! Different bio! She currently resides in a sensible neighborhood with her husband and her 3 wieners (Dachshunds) in the biggest little city in the world.
Windy Wiper – (Columnist for The Steering Column)
Windy S. Wiper the fabulous author of “The Steering Column.” She was manufactured in Detroit Michigan, and she is the car of parents Heada Liner and Dash Board. Several years ago, she was plucked from a wrecking yard in Bakersfield, California. She was restored to her former glory courtesy of the fine folks at Teresa’s Garage. When she isn’t writing her column, she enjoys people taking photos of her at car shows. She is currently single and resides in the biggest little city in the world. Windy is one classy chassis and is looking forward to answering all of your questions on car care and maintenance.
Lisa Smith – ( Contributing Writer)
“Someday I hope to be the person my dog thinks I am.” Lisa Smith is a homebody who allows the genres of life to define her. An avid reader who enjoys movies, photography, digging in the dirt for crystals and talking to her plants, but feeling at one with the world when she is being taken for a walk with her dog. There aren’t any such things as Bucket Lists; only Life Lists. Someday skydiving will be added to those accomplishments.
